Yamaha SS9WR Snare Stand

The SS9WR is part of Yamaha’s Snare Stand series, which offers a wide range of high-quality stands for any kit, from small practice setups to full touring rigs. Sweetwater players find this heavy-duty snare stand a perfect fit for performing pros and session drummers. The SS9WR features Yamaha's Flip Grip basket with adjustable arms that accommodate snare drum diameters from 12 to 14 inches, along with the company's Tone-Enhancing Basket Rubber, which improves your shell’s natural resonance and flexes dynamically with each strike to reduce unwanted vibrations while preserving low-frequency sustain. The basket’s ergonomic adjustment knob tightens smoothly into place, while Yamaha's proprietary Ball Clamp tilter provides near-infinite adjustment for precise placement of your snare and unwavering stability. Use the redesigned wing nut to set up the SS9WR to your liking, with height adjustability from 16.1 to 21.2 inches, reinforced by a strong, overtightening-proof clamp base. Plus, the heavy-duty SS9WR is rugged enough to take on the road, fortified with double-braced legs and supported at the base by oversized, slip-resistant rubber feet with extendable metal spikes for flawless stability on any surface.
